An homage to the South and the beloved music icons The B-52s, it's Tin Roof Rusted... re-invented. The updated scent delivers an even bolder aroma: the timeless sweetness of tobacco mingles with the syrupy nectar of Georgia peaches and creamy tonka beans. A modern take on southern culture packaged in a traditional mason jar. This 100% natural soy wax candle is expertly-crafted in small batches, hand-poured and scented with premium fragrance oils. 

From its inception, the candle has been about capturing the feel of slow drives through the American South, and the passing views of a tobacco fields and barns with rustic tin roofs. But it's also about adjusting the lens wider to see a different take on southern culture offered up by these outliers from Georgia, The B-52s. They redefined what it means to be a rebel in the South by embracing & including all. So, "Tin Roof Rusted" gives you the tobacco fields AND the Georgia peaches.

EVERY SCENT HAS A STORY AT LARRABEE

STORY OF Tin Roof Rusted

Now and then, the scent inspires the story rather than the other way around. Tin RoAnd then the line came to mind, “Tin Roof Rusted,” made famous by The B-52s, one of my favorite southern bands. A phrase that was sometimes used to describe the end of a relationship has taken a life of its own once the song, “Love Shack” became a hit & introduced the band to my generation. Luckily, the end of one thing usually marks the beginning of something else. This scent is my homage to a band that dared to challenge the norms of the South. Queer before it was cool. Defiantly true to self. What better name for this candle.

This candle is amazing. The smooth, slightly smoky peach scent is incredible. I don't think I've smelled anything like it in another candle. I love that it's unique, packaged well (in a mason jar!) and different from mass produced candles. You can tell a lot of thought and care went into creating this.
